Welcome to the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library
Founded in 1855 as the Owen Sound Mechanics' Institute, it has grown into a full-services
public library serving the needs of all residents and taxpayers of the City of Owen Sound, the Township of Chatsworth (former village of Chatsworth, Township of Holland, and the Township of Sullivan),
the Township of Georgian Bluffs (former village of Shallow Lake, Township of Derby, Township of Keppel and the
Township of Sarawak) and the Municipality of Meaford (former Sydenham Township portion.)
Please enjoy your stay with us on-line. We encourage you to visit us in person in our bright and friendly library!
The library is wheelchair accessible.
